National Institute Of Child Health Holds Symposium On Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes

National Institute of Child Health (NICH) will soon start thyroid hormone testing facility for the children with hormonal disorders
The institute, for the first time in Sindh, has also launched a mobile application for registration of Pediatric Hormonal Disorders, said Prof.Dr.Jamal Raza, Executive Director, NICH.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of two-day International Symposium on Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes being held from April 20 - 21, at a local hotel.
The symposium, under the supervision of Prof.
Jamal Raza, was being organized by Society of Pediatrics and Diabetes of Pakistan.
The aim of the symposium was to address pediatric endocrinology which deals with endocrine-related conditions in children including growth disorder, early or delayed puberty, ovarian and testicular dysfunction, Diabetes, hypoglycemia, obesity etc.
International speakers from Australia, UAE and Dubai, who were experts in their fields also spoke on various topics related to growth, diabetes and other hormones in children.
