Azad Jammu And Kashmir Cabinet Development Committee Approves Development Project Of Rs.1.44 Billion

The 7th session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Development Committee (AJKCDC) has approved over Rs. 1.44 billion worth 5 mega development projects of mass public welfare in AJK state.
MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) , :The 7th session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Development Committee (AJKCDC) has approved over Rs. 1.44 billion worth 5 mega development projects of mass public welfare in AJK state.
Prime Minister AJK, Raja Farooq Haider Khan chaired the meeting held at the State metropolis late Wednesday which approved five development projects worth Rs. 1 billion 44 million 4 lacs and 53 thousands.
Various cabinet ministers including Senior Minister Ch. Tariq Farooq, Ministers Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan, Ch. Muhammad Aziz, Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Sardar Mir Akbar, Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, Nasir Dar, Ch.
Muhammad Saeed, Farooq Sikander, including Chairman Prime Minister Inspection and Implementation Commission Col (R) Waqar Noor and other senior officers attended the meeting. Projects included construction of Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) Mang District Sudhnoti with estimated cost of Rs.167 million 7 lacs, Water supply scheme Thorar Mirpur of Rs.
184 million 9 lacs and 53 thousands, up gradation and reconditioning of 25 road in Mirpur worth of Rs.229 million 4 lacs and 94 thousands rupees, up gradation of Tarar Khal Baloch Road with estimated cost of 316 million 6 lacs and 37 thousand rupees and 5 kilometers road from Chota Galla to University of Poonch with estimated cost of 145 million 3 lacs and 93 thousand rupees were approved by AJK CDC.
Initially, 6 projects with total estimated cost of 1172 million rupees were presented in the meeting, and 5 out of 6 projects with estimated cost of 1 billion 44 million 4 lacs and 53 thousands rupees were approved.
Meanwhile, The government of Pakistan has increased the approval limit of AJK CDC from 400 million to 1 billion rupees on the written move by the AJK Prime Minister. Keeping in view, this was the first meeting of AJK CDC after the increments approved by the government of Pakistan for development schemes in AJK.
