ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jan, 2019 ) :The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) in Indian occupied Kashmir has said that despite using its military might, India has miserably failed to suppress the Kashmiris' ongoing struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKML in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a party delegation led by Acting Chairman, Abdul Ahad Parra, visited Batamaloo area of Srinagar and Sopore town to express solidarity with the Hurriyat leaders, Mushtaq-ul-Islam and Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, who were recently released from prolonged illegal detention.
As per the statement, Abdul Ahad Parra speaking during his visit said that India was using its military might to crush the Kashmiris' genuine freedom movement but failed in its nefarious designs. "New Delhi is suffering from the arrogance of power and has tried its best to muzzle our voice by arrests, killings and other tactics but has utterly failed to do so," he added.
The JKML leader urged the Indian rulers to accept the ground realities and take steps for peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
