Masood Khan Welcomes Health Initiatives For The Welfare Of AJK Citizens

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th March, 2019) Sardar Masood Khan, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has said that after the devastating 2005 earthquake numerous countries including South Korea have played an important role in the development projects all over AJK.

The President made these remarks while interacting with Professor Dr. Yong Sik Chung, Managing Director, Dream Hospital, who called on the President here at Jammu and Kashmir House. Dr. Yong apprised the President of his recent efforts in setting up a hospital in Muzaffarabad to help cater to the local population and also the many South Korean nationals working at various development projects throughout AJK.

The President welcomed and also praised Dr. Yong’s endeavours towards providing free of cost specialized medical services in AJK. He said that our government will facilitate any such projects aimed at the welfare of the people of Azad Kashmir.

He also thanked the Korean government for their active involvement in numerous hydropower projects in AJK like Patrind, New Bong (Mangla) and Gulpur Power Projects. He hoped that South Korean entrepreneurs would diversify their expert investments in Azad Kashmir to other sectors, such as information and communication technology and IT industry.
