Mishal Malik, wife of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, on Tuesday suggested that Pakistan Should take Kashmir issue to International Court of Justice (ICJ)
Addressing a seminar at the Lahore High Court Bar, she said that Indian forces tortured Kashmiri people especially the women on daily basis with an aim to harass them.
She said that Indian government had enforced various black laws in the occupied kashmir to keep its occupation and suppress the voice of freedom. But, despite all these atrocities, Kashmiri men and women were determined and struggling for the independence, she added.
Mishal pointed out that internet facilities had been withdrawn in the occupied Kashmir to disconnect the area from the world.
She said that the people of Kashmir loved Pakistan and their love could be judged from the fact that the martyrs were buried in Pakistani flag.
It was duty of the international community to take notice of Indian atrocities in the occupied valley and play its role, she added.
She asked the lawyers to raise the Kashmir issue at international forums.
A large number of lawyers and civil society members attended the seminar besides the bar office bearers.
