197 Power Pilferers Caught In FESCO Region
FAISALABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) in a special drive caught 197 power pilferers in all the four circles of FESCO region during July 2016. The teams have filed applications for registration of cases against power pilferers, at respective police stations, said FESCO spokesman here Wednesday.
The teams during door-to-door checking imposed fine of Rs 28 million in the head of detection bills on 4,200 power pilferers who were found stealing electricity by applying different techniques across the region, of which a sum of Rs 3.6 million have been collected from 564 consumers. During the campaign, meters of 340 consumers were also checked in first circle, 1452 meters in second circle, 1369 in Jhang circle and 1039 in Sargodha circle.
