5.2-magnitude earthquake jolts parts of Punjab

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2018 ) :An earthquake of 5.2-magnitude on the Richter scale struck parts of the Punjab province on Sunday evening.

Tremors were felt in Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Uch Sharif and DG Khan, a private news channel reported.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre of the earthquake, which struck at 19:21pm, was 42 kilometres west of DG Khan.
