
Abbottabad Police Holds Grand Rally To Honour Police Martyrs

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Aug, 2025) In connection with Police Martyrs’ Day, Abbottabad Police organized a grand rally on Friday with full zeal and enthusiasm to pay tribute to the brave personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
The rally was held on the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Umar Tufail (PSP), in collaboration with the local business community and civil society. A large number of citizens from different walks of life participated in the event, demonstrating solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
DSP Nazir Khan, DSP Saeed Yadoon and DSP Faisal Hafeez, along with other police officers and personnel, also took part in the rally and paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of their fallen comrades.
The rally commenced from Abbottabad Main Bazaar and culminated at Cantt Chowk. Participants saluted the courage of those police officers who gave their lives for the protection of the people, maintenance of peace, and upholding the rule of law.
Speaking on the occasion, officials reiterated that Abbottabad Police will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and, with public support, will continue to uphold their legacy with greater determination.
