Body Formed To Grill DG Health, DHO On Corruption Charges

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2023) The Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has constituted a three-member committee to probe corruption charges against Director General Health Service (DGHS) Dr Shaukat Ali and District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Irshad Ali.

A notification from the health department said that a three-member committee led by Chief Planning Officer Health Department Qaisar Alam and two members including Dr Ikram Ullah, Project Director HCIP and Dr Sadiq Shah, District Health Officer Malakand would probe the two officers.

It said that the committee has been formed on the complaint of the National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which said that the two officers were allegedly involved in corrupt practices, illegal appointments and purchase of land during the posting of present DGHS Dr Irshad Ali as the then DHO Dir Lower.
