Commissioner Nadeem Irshad Kiyani directed the departments concerned to launch crackdown on illegal sale of compressors and cylinders in the city.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :Commissioner Nadeem Irshad Kiyani directed the departments concerned to launch crackdown on illegal sale of compressors and cylinders in the city.
Presiding over a meeting here on Monday, he said that public facilitation is top priority and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard. He said that departments should improve their performance. He asked National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) staff to resolve all issues related to provision of computerized national identity cards (CNICs) to the applicants.
He also directed them to ensure good sitting arrangements, electricity and drinking water facilities for visitors.
Director Operations Multan Region Kamran Latif said that there were 13 districts under NADRA Multan where 26 registration vans were operational to facilitate people in their areas. He said that two new were being set up; the Cantt Centre would be shifted in newly constructed building at Bosan Road till Sept 2018.
Chief Executive Officer Sui Gas Azhar Hussain Khokhar informed commissioner that five lakh new connections had been provided in the region. He said that Sui gas issued rising day by day due to increase in housing colonies, which causing losses to the department.
