DCs Role In Running Govt Affairs In Tribal Districts Of Paramount Importance: Info Minister

Information Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shaukat Yousafzai said here Wednesday that merger of erstwhile FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was although a difficult phase but it was being made easier due to tirelessly efforts of Deputy Commissioners of tribal districts and support of tribal elders.
In a clarification statement here, the minister said, merger process was moving forward and the role of DCs of the merged tribal districts to make it successful carried vital importance.
Shaukat expressed the hope that Deputy Commissioners and tribal elders would play constructive role in addressing problems of tribesmen and expediting pace of economic development there.
The Minister while referring to his recent published statement said that it was not aimed at to hurt any Govt official rather to assure tribal delegations of Govt and district administration's full support in protection of their rights. He said no injustice would be tolerated withtribesmen.
