However, very cold weather is expected in Northern areas and Quetta division during this time span.

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.

During the last 24 hours, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. Minimum temperature recorded on Wednesday were Skardu -11C, Astor -10C, Gupis -09C, Gilgit -07C, Bagrote, -06C, Dir -05C, Kalam, Ziarat, Kalat -04C, Quetta, Parachinar, Kalat -03C, Bunji, Rawalakot, Bunji -02C, Chitral, Drosh, Risalpur, and Chitral, Murree -01C, Islamabad 01C, Peshawar 02C, Muzaffarabad 03C, Lahore, Faisaabad, Multan 04C, Hyderbad 11C and Karachi 13C.
