Electricty To Be In Bundance Soon, Says Minister

Federal Minister for Communications Hafiz Abdul Kareem has said that the country will become power loadsheding-free soon

MULTAN, Sept 29 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Sep, 2017 ) : Federal Minister for Communications Hafiz Abdul Kareem has said that the country will become power loadsheding-free soon. He said that uninterrupted power supply would be provided to consumers, he promised during a meeting with Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, here on Friday.

He said that a number of new power plants were being installed in the country and electricity would be available in abundance in the country soon. Mepco CEO told the minister that work on up-gradation of grid stations, transmission lines and high-tension feeders was in progress at a fast pace.

He also apprised him about uplift schemes, low-tension schemes and replacement of overloaded transformers in NA-172 constituency, Dera Ghazi Khan and its suburban areas.
