Govt Colleges Get Five Positions In Multan Board Exams

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -17th Sept,2016) : The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Multan has announced the Intermediate part-II examination results. Government Post-Graduate College bagged four positions in the Inter exams and stood at top among the government colleges of the Multan division.
Anzal Ishfaq, son of Ishfaq, got overall third position in the Multan board. He got 1040 marks. He also remained topper among boys in pre-medical group. In pre-medical boys group, Shoaib-ur-Rehman secured the second position with 1034 marks.
He also hailed from the Government Post-Graduate College Vehari.
Waqas Rauf, a student who died of cardiac arrest in July, got the first position in General Science Group (boys). He was a student at the Government Postgraduate College Vehari.
Another, third position in Arts Group (boys) went to a student of Government Higher Secondary school Luddan, Vehari. It showed that the government institutions of district Vehari performed well. As many as 25 position in Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce, Arts groups, boys and girls categories, were clinched by private institutions.
