HESCO Team Detects Power Theft, Transformer Removed

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Oct, 2016 ) : Hyderabad Electric Supply Company HESCO, team has detected power theft and removed transformer and wires of a flour mill here on Wednesday.

The team comprising Superintending Engineer Malik Imtiazul Haque and SDO Sakrand Sher Muhammad Koondhar raided a flour mill situated on Sakrand road here.

HESCO spokesman informed that the flour mill was being run on stolen electricity since last several years.

He said that a case in this regard would be lodged in the court under the new Rule 262A. In another incident HESCO team recovered a Wapda transformer and claimed to arrest two accused. SDO Sher Muhammad Koondhar told newsmen that accused manager of landlord Sodho Khan Kaloi and driver Ghulam Sarwar were carrying wapda transformer and a heavy motor to irrigate the agriculture land of the landlord.
