PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2019 ) :On the directives of KP Minister for Minerals Dr. Amjad Ali, the auction of various minerals worth Rs.143.82 million was carried out here Friday under the supervision of the Director General (DG) Minerals, Hameedullah Shah. Hundreds of bidders participated in the auction.

Besides, DG Hameedullah Shah, Director (Exploration), Aamir Mohammad, Director Licensing, Yaqub Nawaz, Assistant Director (Regulations), Riaz Khan and other concerned authorities were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Minister said that as per policy of the present government, the auction has been carried out on strict merit and all legal requirements have been fulfilled in the process.

He made it clear that no compromise will be made in the transparency of the auction in future too.

The auction was held for gypsum, granite, field sooper, chromite, copper. Berut, marble and etc.

On this occasion, the DG Minerals said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will soon invite domestic and foreign companies for investment in the mineral sector that will earn maximum revenue for the province.
