KP Revenue Minister Directs Recovery Of Agriculture Income Tax

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Revenue, Shakeel Ahmad Khan Wednesday directed the recovery of agriculture income tax to increase the revenue of the province.

He issued these views while presiding over a meeting regarding matters relating to revenue department and its targets and progress on them here. Director, Land Record, Mohammad Asif, Secretary-I, Qaiser Khan, Assistant Secretary Establishment, Ajmal and other officers concerned attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed in details matters relating to delay in the examination of patwaris and gardawars, regularization of the Chitral settlement staff, initiation of land settlement in Dargai (Malakand) and recovery of agriculture income tax.

The provincial minister directed the higher authorities for the identification of the state land to evacuate them from the occupants with immediate effect without showing leniency with anyone.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister for revenue directed the revenue department for preparation of policy for posting of patwaris to bring further improvement in the sector to address the problems of the people.

He also issued directives regarding promotion of the employees of revenue department.

The provincial minister directed the abolition of encroachments from 800 kanal state land in Dargai(Malakand), saying that land settlement in Dargai is being started shortly andefforts will be made for its completion in the minimum time period.
