
Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Thursday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 29, Tomato 58, Ginger Rs 82, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 252, Lemon Rs 78, Lady Finger Rs 60, Green Zucchini Rs 50, Pumpkin Rs 55, Brinjal Rs 32, Peas Rs 145, Farsh Bean Rs 74, Tanda Desi Rs 54, Cucumber Rs 62, Capsicum Rs 86/60, Green Chilli Rs 36, Cauliflower Rs 95/58, Cabbage Rs 50, Bitter gourd Rs 46, Spinach Rs 33/22, Turnip Rs 55, Yam Rs 45, Maroo Rs 44, Carrot Rs 92, Chicken Rs 122 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 155/125, Apple Gaja Rs 92/60, Apple China Rs 200/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 265/230, Banana Pak Rs 88/55, Pear China Rs 160/125, Grapes 150/125, Gava 80/55, Peach Rs 100/75, Garma Rs 60/40, Mango Najri Rs 62/45, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 92/65, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 58/45 and Mango Ratool Rs 96/65. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
