Over 167,000 Litigation Cases Pending In KP Courts

More than 167,000 cases of different nature were pending in the courts of 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), an official document said
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2019 ) :More than 167,000 cases of different nature were pending in the courts of 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), an official document said.
The document revealed that around 90,000 criminal and civil cases were pending in four districts of KP.
The total number of pending civil cases in KP was 94,385 while in lower courts the number of pending criminal cases was 73,614.
Peshawar with 31,172 pending cases was exceeding followed by Nowshera with 29,306 pending cases of different nature.
In Mardan, the number of total pending cases was 17,894 andHaripur with 10,966. The total number of pending cases in five districts of KPincluding Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera and Haripur was above 100,000.
