
PbBC Suspends Licences Of 199 Lawyers

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th August, 2016) : The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) on Monday suspended licences of 199 lawyers over failure to submit their educational documents. Talking to the media, PbBC Special Scrutiny Committee head Munir Bhatti said that notices were issued to these lawyers after it was found that their educational documents were missing in the record.
However, they failed to submit the required documents despite repeated requests, he added. He said that the black sheep in the legal fraternity would be eliminated and serious efforts were being made for the purpose.
