PIMS Takes Steps To Improve Health Facilities

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -20th Sept,2016) : Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has taken a number of steps to improve health facilities. The new emergency block has been established and will be functional shortly, said an official while talking to APP on Tuesday.
He said recruitment against the vacant posts is under process.
The renovation and upgradation of the wards was also in progress. He said upgradation of trauma equipments at Shaheed Zulifaqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences is under process.
Upgradation of Radiology Department of Children Hospital, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences is also underway. A new 100-bed Trauma Centre on the model of Punjab would also be established.
