Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Saleem Bibi has won PP-96 with 29668 votes.
Chiniot (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Saleem Bibi has won PP-96 with 29668 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-96 Chiniot-IV constituency with 29668 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD TAUFEEQ BUTT was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 38430 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate IMRAN YOUSAF GUJJAR who got 13878 votes.
At least 25 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-96. In 2013 elections, there were 136933 voters registered in PP-96, out of which 69641 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.85 %. Detailed results can be found here
