PU Organizes All Pakistan Co-curricular Competitions 2018 To Promote National Solidarity

Lahore, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2018) : Aimed at promoting national solidarity, the second 5-day All Pakistan Co-Curricular Competitions 2018 organized by Punjab University IER with participation of over 1500 students Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Baluchistan Kashmir in 14 competitions categories with being on Monday.

The event is a joint venture of Punjab Higher education Commission (PHEC), Punjab University, The Educationist, NAB and Lahore College for Women University. Chairman PHEC, Dr Nizamuddin will be the chief guest of the opening ceremony at Faisal Auditorium.

The ceremony would held in fours hall of the university simultaneously including Faisal Auditorium, AlRazi Hall and Waheed Shaheed Hall during April 23to 27, 2018.

Among the participants 920 are from Punjab, 15 from Sindh, 11 from KPK, 18 from Baluchistan and five from Kashmir.

Furthermore, groups of students from schools all around Pakistan will be visiting. The main purpose of conducting this mega event is to promote national unity and harmony among provinces. It is also aimed to provide a chance to the people, coming from different provinces to come forward and talk with one another.

The event comprises competitions of Qirat, Naat, Debates (urdu, English, Punjabi), Photography, Essay writing, poetry, Painting, National Songs and Theatre Dramas among schools and university students in three separate categories including school Junior, School Senior and College/University.
