Rally Held To Mark International Hepatitis Day

MITTHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : An awareness rally was taken out here on Friday in connection with observance of International Hepatitis Day. The rally was taken out from Civil Hospital where the hepatitis program's officials participated.
Addressing the rally, Civil Surgeon Civil Hospital Mitthi Abdul Jalil Burgari said that throughout the Sindh Province free hepatitis treatment is being provided along with free vaccination to the people under Chief Minister special programme of Hepatitis Free Sindh. Free test and free medicines are being provided to the patients in the province, he said adding the camps are being set up at Taluka level for this purpose. On the occasion Hepatitis In charge Tharparkar informed that 65 cases of hepatitis C while 26 cases of hepatitis B have been registered during this year. Doctors, Paramedical staff and large number of people attended the seminar and rally.
