Resolution Submitted In KP Assembly Against Trump's Statement

A resolution was submitted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly secretariat on Tuesday condemning the statement of US President Donald Trump which undermines Pakistan's efforts against terrorism.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :A resolution was submitted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly secretariat on Tuesday condemning the statement of US President Donald Trump which undermines Pakistan's efforts against terrorism.

The resolution was tabled by Nighat Orakzai of PPP, saying that Pakistan has rendered matchless sacrifices in war on terror and laid down more than 70,000 precious lives.

Moreover, it added that the country economy also suffered a massive loss to the tune of over 60 billion Dollars in wake of war on terrorism.

The resolution maintains that this war was imposed on Pakistan and reminded the funds which Pakistan received on account of war on terror were actually reimbursement of military services and but the US has withhold this amount too.

It reminds the world that the US itself is not serious in concluding the war on terror and such statement by the US was tantamount to ridiculing Pakistan's sacrifices on this front besides hurting sentiments of those families who lost their dear ones in this war.
