Retuning Officer Rejects Nomination Papers Of Imran Khan, Shahid Khaqan For NA-53

Retuning Officer here on Tuesday rejected the nomination papers of four candidates, filed by them for contesting elections from NA-53 federal capital on reason of submitting incomplete affidavit which was against the requirement.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :Retuning Officer here on Tuesday rejected the nomination papers of four candidates, filed by them for contesting elections from NA-53 Federal capital on reason of submitting incomplete affidavit which was against the requirement.
The candidates included Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, central leader Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Shahid Khaqan Abbsai, PML-N candidate Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Ayesha Gulallai.
The Returning Officer rejected the nomination papers of the candidates on receiving unsatisfactory reply to a question of clause N of the affidavit, which was mandatory about mentioning their important contribution for the benefit of their respective Constituencies.
Now these candidates could file their appeals against rejection of nomination papers with the Appellate Tribunal.
