ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : All regional issues must be discussed through mutual consensus at forums like SARRC as its international standing is strong to make a difference, says IR Expert Dr.
Maria Sultan. Talking to a private news channel, she said Pakistan and India should resolve all outstanding issues through dialogue when they are provided with the forums like SAARC. "It is integral for peace and prosperity in the region that both the countries must resolve their mutual disputes," she added. She was of the view that India has always been trying to remain dominant in the organization but with Pakistan's presence it is not possible.
Replying to a question she said Kashmiri people have been struggling for their right of independence since long. "Even the brutal activities of Indian forces could not affect their freedom movement", she said. She further said that India has never expressed positive attitude to resolve the Kashmir issue adding she said international community must pay heed to dual policies of Indian government.
