Security Beefed Up In Trains, Railway Stations

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -8th Sept,2016) : Pakistan Railways Police Inspector General Munir Ahmad Chishti on Thursday issued orders to beef up security in trains and railway stations.
He directed the SPs to depute sufficient force on the exit/entry points of all stations and strict watch be carried out over suspects, said a PR spokesman.
The PR Police Commando Force will be deputed at vulnerable installations and in the trains, while bomb disposal staff will also be utilised for security at railway stations.
He also directed that all SPs would remain present on Eid holidays and randomly check trains, stations and escorting staff. Meanwhile, it is pertinent to mention here the number of passengers are increasing day by day at railway stations on Eid ul Azha and the railway administration has arranged special trains across the country.
