Says neither did my son commit any corruption nor did he loot the public money
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st August, 2018) Nawaz Sharif’s mother Shamim Begum has said that all of these people are after my son.
“Neither did my son commit any corruption nor did he loot the public money," she said.
In an interview with Voice of America, Shamim Begum said that Nawaz Sharif’s parents used to give money to Nawaz Sharif monthly whenever he came into power. She said that Nawaz Sharif’s father never let him have food provided by the government.
She said that she never spoke to media before. The things were never such, I have never seen such a situation before.
She said that her son is facing false allegations.
Regarding Nawaz Sharif’s relation with his wife Kulsoom Nawaz, Shamim Begum said that they have a good relation.
They never fought with each other. Kulsoom was obedient while her husband was also pious.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, incarcerated in Adiala Jail over corruption charges, claimed on Monday that he had paid all the expenses of his family at the PM House from his own pocket.
Nawaz Sharif appeared in the Accountability Court-II in Islamabad on Monday when he told journalists that he used to bear all the expenses incurred during his time at the PM House.
“I used to bear all the expenses at PM House. Bills are present to prove that,” he said.
