Speaker Expresses Displeasure Over Absence Of Minister

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : Speaker Nation al Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Tuesday expressed displeasure over absence of Minister for Highter education to respond to a Calling Attention Notice and directed Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sheikh Aftab to ensure ministers' presence in the House.

He said nothing was important than parliament and directed the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to inform the Prime Minister about absence of ministers during proceedings of the House. Earlier, soon after recitation of Naat, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed informed the Speaker that the relevant minister was not present in the House to respond to a Calling Attention notice raised by Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub regarding stoppage of salaries of more than 60 teachers and staff of the Federal urdu University Islamabad.
