Three Suspects Held In Crackdown Against Illegal Lifting Of Silt

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2018 ) :The Sindh Mineral Development Department along with Jamshoro police has started a crackdown against the unlawful lifting of silt from the banks of Indus river.
The department's Deputy Director Ghulam Rasool led a raid along with the police on Sunday, arresting three suspects and impounding shovel machines and two tractor trolleys.
Rasool told the media that one of the arrested suspects, Rashid Ali Khoso, was a driver of the department.
The police identified the other two suspects as Noor Hussain Khoso and Akbar Mengal while 8 other unknown suspects who escaped during the raid have also been nominated in the FIR.
An FIR has been lodged on Rasool's complaint at Jamshoro police station.
