Former Pakistani actor indicted for fraud in America

Indicted in the case, Asad Nazir has been sentenced to jail for three years while his wife for six months .

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th October, 2018) Former actor Asad Nazir and his wife have been proven guilty of fraud by a US court.

The couple has been sent to jail over charges of fraud.

Sources said that Asad Nazir, along with his wife Tahira Nazir, registered fake companied in the US and did fraud of crores of rupees with the local banks and other institutions.

The American police arrested the actor upon receiving the information and produced them before the court.

Indicted in the case, Asad Nazir has been sentenced to jail for three years while his wife for six months.

The court orders said that the couple won’t be deported unless they return every single penny of the fraud.
