'Mah-e-Mir' shortlisted for Oscar Awards nomination

Karachi, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd September, 2016) : Pakistan’s academy Selection Committee (PASC) short listed the film 'Mah-e-Mir' for Oscar Awards 2017 for Best Movie in foreign Language category.

According to the details, Pakistani film 'Mah-e-Mir' has been nominated for 89th Oscar Awards.

Anjum Shehzad and Sarmad Sehbai directed the movie and Fahad Mustafa and Iman Ali played lead role in the film. The movie depicts the story of a young man who was inspired of famous urdu poet Mir Taqi Mir and he rose up against the circumstances.
