Bowling Machine Installed At Jamrud Cricket Academy

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016) : To provide better infrastructure to emerging cricket players of Khyber Agency, bowling machine facility has been installed at Jamrud cricket academy. Cricket players will now be practicing with the help of bowling machine at the Jamrud academy that will enhance their cricketing skills, reported a private news channel. Chief of the Khyber Cricket Association Haji Taimur handed over the machine to the players. He said this facility was even not available for the players of Peshawar and other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said the machine was a gift for the under privilege people of Khyber agency, adding the players at the Jamrud cricket academy would be utilizing the machine free of cost. The machine has been purchased at Rs160,000 and would bowl at a speed up 170km/hour.

It could also be run on power generator in case there is no electricity. The players at the academy have also expressed happiness over the installation of the machine and hoped it would help them polish their batting skills.
