The first earthquake occurred at 07:08 GMT and was followed by a weaker, 5.

6 magnitude tremor, the EMSC said.

The first earthquake struck about 60 miles southeast from the city of Kupang at the depth of about 6.2 miles.

There have been no reports of victims or tsunami threat.
