Japan big manufacturers' confidence flat in September: BoJ

TOKYO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Oct, 2016 ) - business confidence among Japan's largest manufacturers remained unchanged in September, a key central bank survey showed Monday, failing to meet market expectations of a slight improvement.

Big non-manufacturers grew less optimistic than before, according to the Bank of Japan's closely watched Tankan report, as scepticism increases over the government's controversial big-spending, easy-money programme to kick-start growth.
