Jordan Votes In Favour Of UN Resolutions On Palestine, UNRWA

Jordan Friday voted in favour of a number of UN General Assembly draft resolutions that support the Palestinian cause and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

New York, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Dec, 2018 ) :Jordan Friday voted in favour of a number of UN General Assembly draft resolutions that support the Palestinian cause and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

The UN General Assembly adopted a draft bill that supports the work of UNRWA after it received 159 votes in favour, 5 states voted against and 15 other states abstained.

It also took up a resolution to provide assistance to the Palestinian refugees, which was adopted by a recorded vote of 163 in favour to 2 against and 13 abstentions.
