Lavrov To Meet With CAR, Greek Foreign Ministers In St. Petersburg June 6 - Moscow

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 05th June, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold on Thursday in the Russian city of St. Petersburg meetings with his counterparts from the Central African Republic (CAR) and Greece, the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said on Wednesday.
"In particular, [Lavrov's] agenda for June 6, Thursday, includes negotiations with the head of the [UN] World food Programme and with the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as meetings with the Greek foreign minister, Paraguayan vice president, car foreign minister, Hungarian foreign minister and Qatari foreign minister," Zakharova said at a briefing.
The possible meeting between Lavrov and his Slovak counterpart is being discussed, Zakharova added.
"For June 7, Friday, [Lavrov's] meetings with foreign ministers of Serbia and Kenya are planned ... as well as a meeting with Botswanan foreign minister and UN secretary general," Zakharova said.
Lavrov will head the Russian delegation at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which St. Petersburg will host from Thursday to Saturday, Zakharova recalled.
