MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th February, 2019) Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Thursday categorically denied allegations that Moscow is interfering in the elections in Moldova.

"Our country is being accused of interfering in the electoral process in Moldova, of trying to influence the results of the vote," Zakharova said at a weekly briefing.

"Russia never had and has no intention to influence the electoral processes in Moldova. We presume that the forthcoming voting should be held in strict accordance with generally accepted standards of democratic elections," she stressed.
