Russia-North Korea Trade Down 56% to $34 Million in 2018 - Kremlin Aide

Russia-North Korea trade fell last year by over 56 percent to $34 million, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said Tuesday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd April, 2019) Russia-North Korea trade fell last year by over 56 percent to $34 million, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said Tuesday.

"Bilateral trade decreased very significantly last year - by more than 56 percent - to $34 million, a very modest figure. This is primarily due to the fact that Russia is forced to follow international sanctions that were imposed on the DPRK," Ushakov told reporters.
