Latest Green House Opened At Muhammad Nazwaz Sharif University Of Agriculture

Equipped with state of the art technology for the convenience of farmers, the green house was opened at Muhammad Nazwaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA).
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :Equipped with state of the art technology for the convenience of farmers, the green house was opened at Muhammad Nazwaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA).
Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Malik Nauman Ahmad Langrial inaugurated the green house.
It has been made to gauge the capacity of the non seasonal seeds and and to find ways to eradicate the pests attacking the seeds.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that the government was trying to bring revolutionary changes in agriculture for improvement in country economy and farmers prosperity.
He stated that agriculture was the top priority of PTI govt 100 day plan hoping that MNSUA would work for introducing new trends of growing to all stakeholders.
MNSUA Vice Chancellor, Dr Asif Ali briefed the agriculture minister about various ongoing developmental projects of the varsity.
The minister inspected the latest hydroponic unit installed in the varsity.
The VC apprised him about its working saying that vegetables could be grown without land and fertilizers with the help of the hydroponic unit. He said that hat would produce export quality veggies with the unit.
Present of the occasion were Registrar, Imran Mehmood, DirectorCCRI, Dr Sagheer Ahmad, Director Agriculture Research, Dr Abid Mehmood, Dean Social Sciences Dr Irfan Baig and others.
