PHA Rawalpindi Devise City's Beautification Plan

To make the city according to International standard, landscape plan has been devised under Clean and Green programme,said Director General Parks and Horticulture Agency(PHA )Asia Gul here on Tuesday.
The DG said that new plants were being planted while audit of plants planted under clean and green progranmme was also underway.
Asia said that to make the city roads more attractive landscaping and beautification work was being carried out along green belts while steps would also be taken to make the private and government housing schemes pollution free by planting more trees.
She informed that a park upto International standard would be set up in the city while steps were being taken for the restoration of the beauty of the existing parks.
The DG said arrangements were also being made for the welfare of employeesincluding promotion and increase in their salaries.
