FPCCI Urges Govt To Resolve GIDC Issue

President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai Wednesday urged the government to resolve the long-standing issue of Gas and Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC)

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai Wednesday urged the government to resolve the long-standing issue of Gas and Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC).

He said that the issue should be resolved in consultation with the key stakeholders, said a statement here.

He said that the former government instead of utilizing the Cess Revenue on building infrastructure of gas pipelines as originally intended, irresponsibly used the Cess on CNG stations, Metro Projects etc.
