Hong Kong Closes Flat, Shanghai Ticks Up

HONG KONG, Jan 4, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) - Hong Kong stocks closed flat Wednesday while Shanghai rose slightly following strong manufacturing data released the previous day, dealers said.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.
07 percent, or 15.93 points, to end at 22,134.47. But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.73 percent, or 22.87 points, to 3,158.79. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, increased 1.15 percent, or 22.84 points, to 2,008.79.
