Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,676 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 19.855 billion.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,676 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 19.855 billion.
The number of lots traded 24,444, said press release on Friday.

The major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to Rs 4.897 billion, followed by gold Rs 4.781 billion, DJ Rs 4.395 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 2.569 billion,WTI crude oil Rs 1.414 billion, platinum Rs 607.422 million, silver Rs 398.409 million, SP500 Rs 329.402 million, copper Rs 193.934 million, natural gas Rs 142.644 million and Brent crude oil Rs 125.361 million. In agriculture 35 lots of cotton amounting to Rs 78.247million were traded.
