Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said at a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that his country would invest $15 billion in Turkey's economy, Erdogan's press service said in a statement Wednesday.
ANKARA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th August, 2018) Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said at a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that his country would invest $15 billion in Turkey's economy, Erdogan's press service said in a statement Wednesday.
"The Turkish president and the emir of Qatar met today in the presidential compound in Ankara. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional issues. Al Thani said that Qatar intends to directly invest $15 billion in Turkey," the statement said.
