Russia-EU Trade Up 21.1% in January-October Year-on-Year - Customs Service

The trade between Russia and the European Union grew by 21.1 percent in January-October compared to the corresponding period last year and amounted to about $242.9 billion, according to the data released by the Russian Federal Customs Service.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th December, 2018) The trade between Russia and the European Union grew by 21.1 percent in January-October compared to the corresponding period last year and amounted to about $242.9 billion, according to the data released by the Russian Federal Customs Service.

The Russian exports to the European Union totaled $168.9 billion within the given period, an increase of 29.2 percent. Imports grew in January-October by 5.8 percent compared to last year, and stood at the level of $73.96 billion, according to the Customs Service.

The European Union's share in the country's external trade increased from 42.7 percent to 43.1 percent over the given period.
