Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 11 July 2018

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2018 ) :Six ships, Mearsk Phsbvrgh, APL Savannah, Castle Gate, Gas Amazon, Marangas Ascelepns and Jo Pinari carrying Containers, Coal, LPG Mix, LNG and Diesel oil was allotted berth at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, EETL Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively during last 24 hours, said a report issued by Port Qasim Authority (PQA) here on Wednesday.
A total of ten ships are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers Coal, Soya Been Seeds, Palm Kernel, Palm Oil, LNG and Diesel oil respectively.
Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 93953 tonnes, comprising 91502 tonnes import cargo and 2451 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2027 Containers (TEUs), (1898 TEUs Imports and 129 TEUs exports) was handled at the Port.
S.B Virgo sailed out to sea on Wednesday morning, while Stead Fast is expected to sail on same day in the afternoon.
Four ships, Mol Generosity, Serene Juniper, AS Bong 1 and MV.
Caesar are expected to take berths on Wednesday.
