KP Education Department Launches Hotline Number For Public Complaints

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department launched the hotline for receiving complaints from public concerning relevant issues here on Thursday.
People have been advised to make call on 33857-0800 to register their complaints regarding the department, Adviser to Chief Minister on Education Ziaullah Bangash said and added prompt action would be taken to resolve complaints at the earliest.
He said the department would not make any compromise on merit and complainants may indentify through a call on the hotline number the officer concerned who was not willing or applying delaying tactics to resolve one's genuine problems as per relevant rules and regulations.
He said no leniency would be shown to any corrupt element in the department and strict action would be taken against him, he warned.
However, he urged people to cooperate with the department to jointly fight against corruption and ensure that problems were being resolved on merit. He hoped the education department of the KP would emerge as role model for those in the rest of the provinces to follow suit.
