Over Rs 6b To Be Spent On Promotion Of Education In GB: Sanai

Over six billion rupees will be spent on promotion of quality and higher education and enhancing literacy in Gilgit Baltistan during the next fiscal year.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2018 ) :Over six billion rupees will be spent on promotion of quality and higher education and enhancing literacy in Gilgit Baltistan during the next fiscal year.
Gilgit-Baltistan Minister for Education Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai said this amount will be spent under annual development programme and Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), Radio Pakistan reported.
The new budget will ensure environmental conservation, tourism, culture, sports development, good health, clean drinking water and also help to complete schemes in transports, communication and hydro power sectors, he added.
